Question: Discuss about the Financial Accounting and Organizational Change. Answer: Introduction: The revelation of an asset is very necessary for accounting and is one of the necessary components to be maintained while doing the bookkeeping for some company. IAS 38 was revised on March 2004 and will be applicable only in the combination of the business, which has occurred on and after 31 March 2004. The main objective of IAS 38 is only for the incorporation of an intangible asset in the treatment of account, which is not dealing only with IFRS. The multiples of price earnings are based on observed multiples for the reflection in the market and business for which CGU is operating. The earnings will be because of present forecasting division in the earnings. The fair value aggregate is computed, as disposal of the cost of the group will be compared to the market capitalization of the group for the validation in the conclusion for the goodwill, which will not be impaired. One of the main assumption that management is based on the determination of fair value minus disposal cost, which is included in the assumptions, it is because the market multiple will be reflected in the business segment for achieving forecasting in the earning. The intangible net asset is equal to share capital and reserves will be attributable to the shareholders in the group after deducting preference share capital and intangible assets, which are unamor tized. From the accounting, the perspective, fair value of the intangible asset is not disclosed for covering the instruments. A Worn Path essays
A Worn Path essays "A Worn Path" by Eudora Welty, is the tale of the unstoppable love and care of a grandmother for her grandchild. It tells a story of sheer determination as Phoenix Jackson makes a long journey into town to get medicine for her chronically ill grandson. She strives forward despite frequent obstacles in her way that include her own failing health and the grandchild's slim chance of survival. Phoenix Jackson is "an old Negro woman" who continues forward over barriers that would not even be considered a hindrance for the young. This is a journey which she has taken before, and now "the time come around" she must travel it again. She begins her journey to town on "a bright frozen day in the early morning" in December. Phoenix Jackson is "very old and small ", and walks like the "pendulum in a grandfather clock" ever so carefully with her "thin, small cane made from an umbrella." The description of Phoenix Jackson at the beginning of this story gives the reader a glimpse of how difficult this trip is going to be for an elderly woman such as her. The description "Her eyes were blue with age. Her skin has a pattern all its own of numberless branching wrinkles" are indications of Phoenix Jackson's old age. She supports herself with a cane, striving not to fall with every step she takes. She wears a "dress reaching down to her shoe tops" along with "an equally long apron of bleached sugar sacks, with a full pocket." This just adds to her difficulties. As she begins her journey, she talks to herself and warns "Out of my way, all you foxes, owls, beetles, jack rabbits, coons and wild animals!...Keep out from under these feet, little bob-whites", because as she says, "I got a long way." She is determined to go down that path despite anything that might come between her and getting the medicine for her grandson. This shows that her body may be worn out, but the attitude that she takes and des...

An argument in favor of abortion supporting a womans right to freedom Essay Example for Free
An argument in favor of abortion supporting a womans right to freedom Essay Is there ever a case, when one persons religious preference should be allowed to encroach on another personââ¬â¢s right to life, liberty and the pursuit of happiness? Today many Americans justify their intrusion by siting Articles and Amendments to the Constitution of the United States. à In particular, they speak of the freedom of speech, religion, the right to bear arms, etc. à It seems as though the freedoms are only valuable when everyone shares the same beliefs, morals, and values. à But are these freedoms also guaranteed for those whose values may not be the same as the majority? à As Americans is it not possible to differ and hold different beliefs in pursuit of liberty? à What makes one persons beliefs more valuable under the constitution than another person? A lot of people do not support abortion because they believe it is killing baby. When most abortions occur, which in the first trimester ââ¬Å"â⬠¦a cluster of cells or a less than half ounce fetus is not anywhere close to a definition of an actual baby.â⬠(4) Scientists use the term fetus and not a baby because a baby ââ¬Å"â⬠¦could be born and survive outside the motherââ¬â¢s wombâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ (4) and a fetus could not. A fetus is nowhere near ready to live outside the mothers womb and ââ¬Å" There is no real functioning brain, therefore no real humanity.â⬠(4) So in reality abortions do not terminate babies, they terminate a fetus that could not survive outside the motherââ¬â¢s womb. Another reason people are not for abortion is that of religious beliefs. Some believe that terminating any form of life in the motherââ¬â¢s womb is wrong no matter the reason and ââ¬Å"Those religiously opposed to abortion in the first two trimesters are free not to have them.â⬠(9) Just because abortion is legal does not mean people are going to be forced to go out and participate in them. Abortion being legal does not impose on anyoneââ¬â¢s rights or make anyone do anything they do not want to do. Therefore, if abortion goes against someoneââ¬â¢s religious beliefs they are free not to go and get one. People who do not want abortion legalized talk about how it goes against their religion but what about the religion of the woman partaking in the abortion? Not everyone has the same beliefs or sees things the same as others. By trying to make abortion illegal it infringes on citizens rights. If ââ¬Å"â⬠¦my brothers and sisters in the United Church of Christ, who do not see the bible they way you see it, are free to make their own choicesâ⬠¦ isnââ¬â¢t that freedom of religion too?â⬠(9) People cannot talk about how abortion imposes on the pro-choices religion without talking about the religious freedom of the woman undergoing the procedure. If a womanââ¬â¢s beliefs tell her to do what is best for her The last topic is how making abortion illegal will take away a womanââ¬â¢s right by forcing her to stay pregnant. There are various reasons why a woman chooses to have an abortion. Whether it is because the woman is not ready for kids emotionally or financially, the baby was produced by rape or incest, or she simply just may not want kids and etc.à For people who are pro-choice ââ¬Å"â⬠¦ If your side ever wins, then my daughter and her daughter will be forced to stay pregnant, when their life circumstancesâ⬠¦ would be much better served if they could safely terminate the fetusâ⬠¦Ã¢â¬ (7) So for people out there who are wanting abortion to illegal, in a sense, they want a woman to be forced to be pregnant even if that is not what is best for the woman. If abortion stays legal ââ¬Å" we havenââ¬â¢t forced your daughter or her daughter after her, to do anything against their will.â⬠(7) By keeping abortion legal no ones rights will be infringed on and no on e is forced to do anything they do not want to do. The same cannot be said if abortion was made illegal. In conclusion, abortions do not terminate babies it terminates fetuses. If abortion goes against someoneââ¬â¢s religious beliefs they are free not to have them but do not forget about the religious freedom of the woman undergoing the abortion. People who do not support abortion will never be forced to do something against their will whether its legal or illegal but making abortion illegal will force a woman to stay pregnant against their will. These were just a few reasons why I think abortion should stay legal.
